In Astana, participants in the TITR agreed on plans for route development and the digitalization of transportation.

On April 23–24, 2026, meetings of the Working Group, the Board, and the General Assembly of the International Association “Trans-Caspian International Transport Route” were held in Astana. Participants were presented with a report on the Association’s activities for 2025, which confirmed the route’s steady positive growth trajectory; they also discussed transport plans for 2026 and measures for their implementation.

Key attention was focused on enhancing the efficiency of transport operations and strengthening cooperation among the route’s participants. Following the meetings, a number of documents aimed at the further development of the TITR were signed, including an agreement on organizing container services between ports and terminals across the Caspian Sea.

Separately, the parties signed a memorandum of cooperation on the digitalization of multimodal transport, providing for the implementation and development of digital solutions along the entire length of the route. Participants highlighted the growing role of the Trans-Caspian Route in establishing sustainable transport and logistics connections between the countries of Asia and Europe.
