The 40th meeting of the Conference of General Directors of Railways of the Organization for Cooperation between Railways (OSJD) took place in the capital of Kazakhstan, marking the organization’s 70th anniversary. DSV delivered solid results in Q1 2026 amid the integration of Schenker and a challenging market environment.

Logistics group DSV demonstrated resilient financial performance in the first quarter of 2026 despite challenging global market conditions, geopolitical instability, and pressure on supply chains. EBIT before special items amounted to DKK 4.855 billion, an increase year-on-year, driven primarily by the integration of the acquired Schenker. Ukrzaliznytsia and the EBRD will receive 54 million euros in grants for infrastructure, energy and personnel development.

Ukrzaliznytsia, together with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, with EU support, signed two grant agreements totaling €54 million to implement three strategic development areas for Ukraine’s railway system. According to Oleksiy Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction and Development of Ukraine and Minister of Communities and Territories Development, the funds are intended to improve infrastructure accessibility, strengthen energy independence, and develop human capital.
