The Geis Group logistics group closed the 2025 financial year with revenue growth of 8.8% to a record high of €2.12 billion. Despite the weak economic environment and high price pressure, the family-owned company was able to strengthen its market position through active integration, internationalization, and digitalization of its business. According to Managing Partners Hans-Wolfgang Geis and Jochen Geis, the key priority for the year was the integration of new assets and strengthening international collaboration within the group.
In 2025, Geis expanded its presence in strategic markets through the acquisitions of Gras Group, Krüger’s operations in Göttingen, Agotrans, and ZZ Agency Stoll in Tyrol. By the end of the year, the company employed approximately 10,000 people at over 200 sites in 14 European countries – 650 more than the previous year. The Road Services segment demonstrated the most dynamic growth, reaching revenue of €1.46 billion, an increase of 13.6%. In Germany, growth due to M&A transactions amounted to 26%. The Logistics Services contract logistics segment remained stable at €406 million, particularly in Germany, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia, where Geis operates over 100 logistics facilities. Meanwhile, Air + Sea Services decreased by 2.3% to €181 million due to lower sea and air freight rates.
The results of the Austrian company Quehenberger Logistics, part of the group, were also included in the consolidated financial statements: its revenue increased by 1.3% to €641 million, primarily due to road freight. In 2025, Geis invested heavily in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and sustainability: using 8.1 million liters of HVO fuel significantly reduced CO₂ emissions, while investments in solar panels, battery storage, and e-mobility increased energy autonomy. In 2026, the company plans to deepen its integration with Quehenberger, develop cross-sales, and continue implementing digital and AI solutions to improve business efficiency.
