HPC Hamburg Port Consulting has completed the development and implementation of the Single Maritime Window system in Georgia. According to the company, the digital platform has successfully passed testing and is already used by more than 400 users. Latvian airline AirBaltic and German Lufthansa have announced the expansion of their codeshare agreement. The vessel “Zhen Hua 27” arrived in the Port of Hamburg, delivering new container cranes for the Burchardkai Terminal (CTB). Until November 23, the vessel remained at the Athabaskakai berth for preparation for unloading, after which the cranes were installed at berths 1 and 2. DHL Express has partnered with energy company Shell to supply 25,000 tonnes of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) to Brussels Airport. Under the one-year contract, the SAF will be delivered via pipeline and used to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 80,000 tonnes of CO₂e compared to conventional aviation fuel. The fuel is produced by replacing fossil oil with renewable feedstocks and is ISCC Plus certified.
