From 2020 to 2024, transit traffic through Central Asian countries increased by 75%, reaching 35 million tons, according to the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB). In 2020, this figure was just over 20 million tons.

Aviator Airport Alliance, the largest independent provider of ground handling services in Northern Europe, has extended its agreement with Finnish airline Finnair. Under the contract, its subsidiary, Aviator Airport Services Finland, will continue to provide de-icing and winter handling services at Helsinki Airport (HEL) during the 2025–2028 seasons. Aviator is part of the Avia Solutions Group, the world’s largest provider of ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) services.
