ÖBB Rail Cargo Group is transferring its TransFER service to the Verona–Duisburg route and increasing its frequency.
ÖBB Rail Cargo Group announced the relocation of its intermodal TransFER service between Italy and Germany from its Wuppertal terminal to a facility in Duisburg. This decision is due to the ongoing modernization of Germany’s heavily used rail corridors, which has temporarily limited the availability of the previous terminal. The new logistics hub offers modern infrastructure and additional capacity for storage and handling of cargo, which is already supporting growth in volumes and attracting new customers.
