Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin held talks with Permanent Deputy Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nguyen Hoa Binh. PSA Singapore (PSA) and Japanese shipping company Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd (MOL) announced the establishment of a joint venture to operate a Ro-Ro terminal in Singapore. The new project aims to improve operational quality and leverage synergies in global automotive logistics. The terminal is expected to open in the first half of this year, pending receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals.

Temirzhol Zhondeu LLC has been granted exclusive dealer status in the EAEU for Hubei Srida Heavy-duty Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd., a Chinese railway equipment manufacturer. The company, one of the largest manufacturers of track equipment and steel structures in China, produces over 600 pieces of equipment and over 50,000 tons of steel structures annually. Temirzhol Zhondeu LLC’s exclusive dealership is for five years.

At the 13th Congress of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Atameken,” the results of the Logistics and Transportation Committee’s activities were summarized and key objectives for 2026 were discussed. Last year, Altynkol station operated under high production loads, ensuring stable and uninterrupted operations at the Kazakhstan-China border crossing. Thanks to its favorable geographic location and modern technical equipment, Altynkol continues to play a key role in shaping international freight flows between Kazakhstan and China. During the year, organizational and technical measures were implemented at the station to improve the efficiency of the transportation process and safety.

The Kazakhstan Temir Zholy Group of Companies plans to invest approximately $15 billion by 2030 in developing transport and logistics infrastructure, modernizing production assets, and implementing modern digital and technological solutions. The investment program aims to increase the capacity of the railway network and prepare it for further growth in both domestic and transit freight traffic.
