The Port of Kuryk presented projects for the development of the Middle Corridor at a transport forum in the USA.

Representatives of the Port of Kuryk participated in the “USA–Eurasia” Transport Forum, held at the Port of Long Beach in California. The event was organized by the Consulates General of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Georgia, bringing together representatives from the port industry, logistics companies, the business sector, and the diplomatic community to discuss prospects for expanding trade and transport ties between the USA and the countries of Eurasia. The Kazakhstani delegation included officials from the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the leadership of the Port of Kuryk, and representatives of the country’s diplomatic missions.

Kazakhstan Temir Zholy and Uzbekistan Railways discussed the growth of transportation and the development of transport corridors.

Swissport expands its cargo business in Morocco through the acquisition of Swiftair Maroc.

The Swiss company Swissport International has signed a binding agreement to acquire Swiftair Maroc – an air cargo handling operator based at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca. This deal was concluded less than a month after the acquisition of a controlling stake in CV Handling in Cape Verde and marks another step in Swissport’s strategy to strengthen its presence in Northwest Africa. Casablanca Airport serves as Morocco’s primary air cargo hub, handling approximately 95% of the country’s total air cargo volume.

The Netherlands has launched the first section of its national hydrogen network.

The King of the Netherlands has officially commissioned the first section of the national hydrogen network at the Port of Rotterdam. The ceremony was also attended by Stientje van Veldhoven, Minister for Climate Policy and Green Growth, and Willemien Terpstra, CEO of Gasunie. The section in question is a 32-kilometer pipeline connecting Maasvlakte and Pernis, marking the first completed route in the development of the national infrastructure for hydrogen transport.

MCH Group has selected Kuehne+Nagel as its official logistics partner for five years.

The Swiss exhibition and congress company MCH Group has signed a long-term agreement with the logistics provider Kuehne+Nagel, which will become the Group’s official partner effective July 1, 2026. The contract covers services for the country’s largest exhibition venues: Messe Basel, Messe Zürich, and Beaulieu Lausanne. The combined floor area of ​​these facilities exceeds 182,000 square meters, and they host more than 150 events of varying scales annually.

KAZLOGISTICS participated in a discussion on the digital transformation of Kazakhstan’s transport system.

On May 22, 2026, a roundtable discussion was held in Almaty at ALT University (named after M. Tynyshpayev), dedicated to the integration of science, education, business, and production logistics with the aim of establishing a unified digital transport and logistics system for Kazakhstan. Ukrainian seaports have increased container throughput by more than 37%.

Ukraine’s seaports continue to demonstrate growth in container traffic in 2026. According to the Association of International Freight Forwarders of Ukraine (AMEU), container throughput at Ukrainian ports reached 83,242 TEU during the period from January to April of the current year, signaling the persistence of positive momentum within the industry.

Kazakhstan and Kenya have agreed to develop joint transport and logistics routes.

The Ministries of Transport of Kazakhstan and Kenya signed a Memorandum of Understanding during the first state visit of Kenyan President William Ruto to Kazakhstan. Following the negotiations, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stated that combining the transport potential of the two countries would enable the opening of new export routes and strengthen trade ties between Central Asia and Africa. The parties paid particular attention to the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route and its integration with key maritime corridors in East Africa.
