CEVA Logistics announced a contract extension with the But-Conforama group at the SITL trade fair in Paris. The French home goods retailer has entrusted the logistics operator with the management of domestic seaborne import shipments, as well as full customs clearance support, for another two years. This agreement strengthens CEVA’s status as a key logistics partner in the French market.
As part of this collaboration, CEVA Logistics will continue to provide comprehensive management of But-Conforama’s seaborne shipments from Asia, Brazil, and Turkey through seaports and inland terminals in France. Cargo is routed to the Tournan-en-Brie hub and the logistics platform in Méré, which is now fully integrated into CEVA’s optimized network in France. Annual shipment volume exceeds 9,600 containers, double the previous volume.
Operations include the organization of multimodal transport to warehouses and distribution centers, as well as the delivery of goods to the chain’s stores. Coordination is provided by a dedicated CEVA team in Le Havre. In addition to freight forwarding, the company manages customs clearance, duties, and VAT procedures, as well as weekly deliveries of furniture, home goods, and appliances from the Tournan-en-Brie platform to But and Conforama stores throughout France.
