Kazakhstan’s Minister of Transport Nurlan Sauranbayev and Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev, co-chair of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, held a meeting with business representatives from Kazakhstan and Georgia. The main topic of discussion was strengthening economic cooperation between the countries and expanding practical collaboration in key sectors.

The participants focused on the development of the agro-industrial complex, industrial cooperation, and transport and logistics, including the promotion of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (Middle Corridor). They also discussed the implementation of joint infrastructure projects aimed at improving transportation efficiency and expanding transit capacity in the region.
The parties emphasized that transport, logistics, and energy are considered the most promising areas for further cooperation. They believe the development of these sectors will contribute to strengthening economic ties between Kazakhstan and Georgia, as well as expanding the export and transit potential of both countries.
