During a working visit to China, Talgat Aldybergenov, Chairman of the Board of Kazakhstan Railways (Kazakhstan Temir Zholy), held talks with the management of China Railway Container Transport (CRCT). The meeting focused on strengthening transport and logistics cooperation and developing a strategic partnership between the railway administrations of Kazakhstan and China.
The parties discussed increasing container traffic volumes on the China-Europe-China route, as well as developing routes along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route. Particular attention was paid to measures to reduce delivery times and improve the predictability of transit shipments across Eurasia.
A separate focus of the talks was the digitalization of the transportation process and the integration of information systems. Implementation of these solutions will ensure seamless processing of customs and transport documents and improve the efficiency of logistics chains for international container shipping.
