Icelandic carrier Odin Cargo has signed a long-term lease agreement with Bulgaria’s Compass Cargo Airlines for a Boeing 737-800SF freighter. Finalized in June, the deal enables the company to expand its air cargo network and further develop an existing, successful route while ensuring consistent service for its customers.

Odin Cargo operates scheduled cargo flights using Boeing 737-800BCF aircraft on weekdays, connecting Keflavík, Billund, and Cologne. These routes facilitate the daily delivery of fresh produce to major European fish markets. Through partnerships with international carriers such as Delta Cargo, SAS Cargo, LOT Cargo, and UPS Air Cargo, the company offers access to over 400 airports worldwide, including destinations in the US, Canada, and Asia.

Additionally, Odin Cargo acts as an agent for Delta Cargo, facilitating daily shipments between Keflavík and New York, Minneapolis, and Detroit, with onward connections to Delta’s global network. The company also serves as the General Sales and Service Agent (GSSA) for LOT Cargo, which operates three to four flights weekly between Keflavík and Warsaw. Via the Polish hub, cargo can be routed to more than 100 destinations across Asia, Europe, the US, and Canada.
