Schneider Group will appoint a new CEO effective July 1, 2026.

Schneider Group, an international logistics operator headquartered in Basel, has announced a change in its operational leadership. Effective July 1, 2026, André Strebel will hand over the role of CEO to Eric Penya. Over his eight-year tenure, Strebel played a pivotal role in the company’s growth – significantly expanding its international footprint and successfully executing more than ten asset acquisition deals.

Following his departure from his operational role, André Strebel will maintain his ties to the company, serving as a Senior Advisor and a member of the Board of Directors. Schneider Group notes that his experience and expertise will continue to influence the Group’s strategic development and ensure continuity in management decision-making.

Eric Penya has been appointed as the new CEO, bringing with him extensive experience in the fields of international logistics and freight forwarding. He previously held leadership positions at companies such as CEVA Logistics, Bolloré Logistics, and Kühne + Nagel. The company emphasizes that his management experience and strategic acumen will be instrumental in continuing to scale the international organizational structure and in executing the “Buy & Build” strategy through targeted acquisitions.
