The ports of Rijeka and Constanta signed a memorandum of cooperation at the Three Seas Initiative forum in Dubrovnik.

The Port of Rijeka and Constanța authorities agreed to deepen cooperation in maritime transport and port infrastructure development. A memorandum of understanding was signed at the Palace Hotel in Dubrovnik during the Three Seas Initiative and Business Forum, which this year brought together approximately 1,500 participants from 45 countries and reaffirmed the strategic importance of the region between the Baltic, Adriatic, and Black Seas for European transport and security flows.

The document was signed in the presence of Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, Romanian President Nicusor Dan, and Croatian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Sea, Transport, and Infrastructure Oleg Butković, emphasizing the high political level of the agreements and the importance of developing connections between the ports of the two countries.

The document was signed by Denis Vukorepa, Executive Director of the Port of Rijeka Authority, and Mihail Teodorescu, CEO of Maritime Ports Administration SA Constanța. The memorandum provides for the exchange of data on cargo flows and infrastructure projects, the development of logistics and digital solutions, the joint promotion of ports internationally, and the exchange of professional experience to improve the efficiency and competitiveness of port systems.
