During his working visit to China, Talgat Aldybergenov, Chairman of the Board of JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, visited the Shenzhen Bureau of Transport and held a series of meetings with Huawei Technologies executives. During the talks, he met with Liang Hua, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Zuo Meng, President of the Smart Railway Division, to discuss the further development of their technological partnership.
Cooperation between KTZ and Huawei is viewed as an important element of the technological dialogue between Kazakhstan and China. The companies aim to create a modern, intelligent railway system based on advanced solutions in communications, big data processing, cloud technologies, and artificial intelligence. The KTZ delegation also learned about Huawei’s international projects in smart transport management, cybersecurity, data protection, dispatching, and the implementation of AI in railway processes.
Following the visit, a protocol on further cooperation was signed at Huawei’s headquarters. The focus of this collaboration is the transition to new FRMCS communication standards, the development of Big Data and cloud infrastructure, and the implementation of AI-based solutions to improve safety, network capacity, and transportation efficiency. The parties will place particular emphasis on developing KTZ’s human resources through joint educational programs, including training young specialists and building a talent pool.
