KTZ Express and AECOM discussed the development of the Trans-Caspian Route and Kazakhstan’s infrastructure.

A meeting was held at the KTZ Express headquarters between the company’s leadership and a delegation from the international engineering firm AECOM. The parties reviewed key directions for the development of Kazakhstan’s transport and logistics infrastructure and discussed opportunities for cooperation within the framework of the “Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment” (PGI) initiative, which aims to support major international projects in the transport and logistics sectors.

During the negotiations, AECOM representatives presented their approaches to implementing the “Trans-Caspian Trade Route” (TITR) project, which envisions the establishment of a sustainable and competitive transport corridor across the Central Asian and Caspian regions. It was specifically noted that, under the PGI framework, the company provides comprehensive support for infrastructure initiatives at every stage – from planning through to implementation.

The meeting participants paid particular attention to attracting international investment, developing multimodal logistics, and establishing efficient supply chains within the region. Following the negotiations, both parties reaffirmed their interest in continued collaboration and agreed to proceed with the elaboration of joint initiatives aimed at enhancing Kazakhstan’s transit potential and fostering regional transport connectivity.
