KTZ Express, in collaboration with the Turkish company Pasifik Eurasia Lojistik Dış Ticaret A.Ş., has organized the dispatch of a container train along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, traveling from Izmir to the Port of Aktau, Altynkol Station, and on to Chengxiang (Sichuan Province, China). The train carried 50 forty-foot containers loaded with household refrigerators, with KTZ Express providing freight forwarding services for the shipment.
The transit time across Kazakhstan – specifically along the Port of Aktau–Altynkol section – totaled 83 hours. This project demonstrates the growing demand for the “Middle Corridor” as a competitive route for eastbound shipments – moving goods from Turkey and European countries to China through the use of multimodal logistics.
KTZ Express and Pasifik Eurasia serve as strategic partners in the development of container services along the TITR, consistently increasing transport volumes and expanding the geographic scope of cargo flows between Europe, Turkey, and China. Key areas of their cooperation include establishing sustainable return cargo flows to the East, synchronizing train schedules, prioritizing the transit of shipments, and gradually eliminating infrastructure bottlenecks to enhance the overall efficiency of the route.
