KTZ Express organized a new shipment of Kazakh wheat flour from Kostanay to New York using the infrastructure of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (Middle Corridor). The shipment took place on March 10, 2026, and included 24 tons of product manufactured by Salamat Company LLP, one of Kazakhstan’s largest flour mills and a leading player in Central Asia. Growing demand for Kazakh flour confirms the sustained interest of international markets in the country’s products.
The shipment was carried out in a multimodal container format, sequentially using rail and sea transport. KTZ Express provided the “first mile” – containerization and delivery of the cargo from Kostanay to the port of Aktau. The cargo was then transported across the Caspian Sea to the port of Alat (Azerbaijan), then across the Black Sea from the port of Poti (Georgia), and then on to the Mediterranean via Istanbul.
The final leg of the route crosses the Atlantic Ocean to the port of New York, and sea transportation is carried out in partnership with one of the world’s largest shipping companies, CMA CGM. The total transit time is approximately 58 days. KTZ Express notes that the company provides full control of the shipment from origin to final destination, confirming the reliability and transparency of the logistics chain, as well as the route’s effectiveness for entering new markets.
