Rail Baltica presented its experience in managing international infrastructure projects at the Lyon–Turin Euroforum.

At the 10th annual Lyon–Turin Euroforum (LTEF 2025), held at the French Embassy in Palazzo Farnese, experts, politicians, and industry representatives discussed key aspects of designing and managing the infrastructure of the future. TELT, the French-Italian promoter of the new Lyon–Turin cross-border railway, opened the forum for specialists, students, and researchers, emphasizing the importance of a sustainable approach to large-scale infrastructure projects.

Marko Kivila, CEO of RB Rail AS, representing Rail Baltica, participated in the panel discussion “International Infrastructure Management.” He shared his experience managing one of Europe’s largest cross-border projects, emphasizing the importance of disciplined management, close cooperation between the Baltic states, and compliance with European standards and sustainable development goals. Kivila also emphasized Rail Baltica’s integration into the TEN-T network and the project’s contribution to strengthening European transport connectivity.

The forum brought together leading TELT experts and representatives, including the French Ambassador to Italy, Martin Briens, and the management of TELT SAS, to discuss governance, sustainability, and innovation. Rail Baltica’s participation confirmed the project’s commitment to fostering cooperation between countries and creating long-term value for European transport infrastructure.
