Maersk has entered into a commercially viable long-term supply agreement with the Chinese company Goldwind, a global leader in clean energy. The first vessels undergoing this eco-friendly transformation are the canal push boats RSPSB146 and RSPSB153, originally built in the 1970s, which now feature modern diesel generators by SCANIA and Caterpillar, boasting Stage 5 exhaust gas treatment for a substantial 40 percent reduction in particulate matter emissions.
