A2B-online Container B.V. increases the frequency of its barge service between Moerdijk and Duisburg.

A2B-online Container B.V. announced the expansion of its barge service between CCT Moerdijk in the Netherlands and DGT Duisburg in Germany. Starting April 26, the frequency of services will increase from two to three times per week, strengthening intermodal connections between one of the country’s key short-sea hubs and Germany’s industrial region.

Rail operators are launching the Track Together pilot project to improve transport efficiency at the Port of Rotterdam.

Six rail operators – Rail Force One, HSL Netherlands, DB Cargo Nederland, RTB Cargo, LTE Rail Europe, and Rail Cargo Group – signed an agreement coordinated by the Port of Rotterdam Authority aimed at strengthening operational cooperation on the port rail line. The companies collectively control approximately 70% of the market and will operate under a new cooperation model designed to improve the sustainability of transportation.

CMA CGM is in talks to buy a minority stake in Rail Logistics Europe amid SNCF’s restructuring.

French shipping and logistics group CMA CGM is in talks with rail operator SNCF about a possible stake in its freight division, Rail Logistics Europe. The sale involves a minority stake of up to 49%, though the exact size has not yet been determined. In addition to CMA CGM, AP Moller-Maersk and DB Schenker, along with DSV, are also being considered as potential investors, according to Bloomberg.
