4RCargo opens office in Bratislava and strengthens its position in Central and Eastern Europe.

Independent GSSA company 4RCargo continues its rapid expansion in the Central Eastern Europe region with the opening of a new office in the capital of Slovakia, Bratislava. This is the fourth office for the company, which has tripled its team size in the last 18 months in response to growing demand from the regional market.

KAZLOGISTICS discussed key issues and initiatives of civil aviation in Kazakhstan.

The Union of Transport Workers of Kazakhstan “KAZLOGISTICS” held a meeting of the Subcommittee on Civil Aviation under the Committee for Logistics and Transportation of the Presidium of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Atameken”. The agenda included issues that directly affect the development of the country’s aviation industry and the efficiency of logistics processes.

Kazakhstan shows growth in freight transportation by rail and sea in the first quarter of 2025.

According to the National Statistics Bureau, 111.3 million tons of cargo were transported by rail in Kazakhstan in January-March 2025, which is 14.9% more than in the same period last year. Cargo turnover amounted to 83.7 billion ton-kilometers, an increase of 10.3%. Passenger transportation also showed growth: 4.7 million people used trains, and passenger turnover reached 3.6 billion passenger-kilometers.

The Port of Rijeka is strengthening cyber security within the framework of the international CRESPORT project.

The Port of Rijeka Authority has signed a contract with the Croatian IT company CompING d.o.o. for over 112,000 euros for the purchase, installation and integration of equipment and software into the port’s information system. The signing took place within the framework of the CRESPORT pilot project, aimed at increasing the cyber resilience and security of Adriatic ports. Funding is provided by the Interreg Italy-Croatia 2021-2027 program, with 80% of the budget covered by a European grant and the rest by the port.
