The jubilee 300th container train along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) departed from the terminal in Xi’an (PRC). It goes through Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan, and its shipment was organized jointly with ADY Express (Azerbaijan) and Xi’an Free Trade Port (China).

A.P. Moller – Maersk (Maersk) has welcomed its new methanol-capable dual-fuel container ship in Singapore. The vessel, named A.P. Møller after the company’s founder Arnold Peter Møller, is the ninth methanol-capable vessel in Maersk’s fleet. The naming ceremony was conducted by Robert Uggla, Chairman of Maersk, in the presence of senior Singapore government officials, customers and employees.
As of November 28, 2024, more than 85 million tons of cargo were transported through the Ukrainian sea corridor. Of these, 56.7 million tons of grain were exported to ensure global food security. This result demonstrates the effectiveness of the corridor even in difficult war conditions.
Kazakhstan and China have successfully transferred the process of exchanging foreign permit forms (FPF) to an electronic format. On the night of November 26-27, the system was tested, after which the electronic system was officially introduced. In January-October 2024, the cargo turnover of Turkish ports increased by 1.3% compared to the same period last year, reaching 441.9 million tons, the General Directorate of Maritime Affairs of Turkey reported. In October, 44.7 million tons of cargo passed through the ports, which is 0.5% less than in October 2023. The largest volume was handled in the ports of Kocaeli (7.03 million tons), Aliaga (6.63 million tons) and Iskenderun (5.48 million tons).
