The Romanian Freight Forwarders Association has released an online map of the country’s intermodal terminals.

The Romanian Freight Forwarders Association (User) has launched an interactive online map of intermodal terminals, accessible on the organization’s official website. The project was presented at the intermodal transport panel at the TransLogistica Romania 2025 exhibition and is the first tool to consolidate all data on the country’s terminal infrastructure.

User notes that the initiative was born from an analysis that revealed a lack of complete and up-to-date information on Romania’s logistics facilities. The new map aims to increase transparency, simplify planning, and stimulate the development of the logistics sector.

The association encourages companies to share updates to maintain the current data. In the next step, User plans to present the map to European industry organizations—Clecat, UIRR, and national freight forwarder associations—with the aim of promoting Romania’s intermodal potential and its integration into the pan-European transport network.
