DB Cargo Full Load Solutions (FLS) has strengthened its position in the European market by adding 200 new trailers to its fleet, 100 of which are innovative MEGA trailers. The new trailers significantly increase capacity and transport safety, while reducing costs and CO₂ emissions. Each MEGA trailer provides approximately 100 cubic meters of loading volume and a body height of up to three meters, while a lifting roof facilitates the transport of oversized cargo.
The company focuses on efficiency and sustainability: fewer trips means less fuel and harmful emissions. All new trailers are equipped with modern load securing systems, additional rear tie-down loops, and “Angles Morts” signs, enhancing safety during maneuvers and allowing the vehicles to be used in France. Furthermore, the trailers have ADR markings and pockets for marking hazardous materials, as well as standard Code XL certification, making them suitable for waste transportation.
Since February, MEGA trailers have been in use on DB Cargo FLS’s international routes, including shipments for the paper industry between Sweden, Germany, and Italy. In total, the company now operates a fleet of 450 trailers, strengthening its reputation as a reliable and sustainable partner in intermodal and road transport throughout Europe.
