On June 28, 2025, Ukraine and Morocco signed an agreement on international road transport, which for the first time secured direct transport links between the two countries. The document was concluded during the global transport forum in Turkey and provides for a simplified procedure for cargo and passenger flights, including direct and transit transportation.
The agreement significantly reduces administrative procedures: route processing will be faster, document costs and preparation time will be reduced. Ukrainian carriers will be able to directly deliver cargo to Morocco, and Moroccan carriers will be able to enter the Ukrainian market via Europe. To launch passenger flights, the countries will hold joint meetings and exchange permits.
For Ukrainian and Moroccan logistics companies, this opens up new routes, speeds up delivery and reduces costs, which will strengthen trade between Europe and North Africa. Cooperation will also stimulate the development of transport infrastructure in both countries and strengthen economic ties at the international level.
