JINGDONG Logistics launched the first cargo airline from Wuhu to Vietnam.

JINGDONG Logistics (JD Logistics) has launched its first direct cargo air service between Wuhu, China and Hanoi, Vietnam. The new route is an important addition to the company’s existing network in Southeast Asia, which already covers routes from Shenzhen to Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur. The flights will operate 2-3 times a week with a cargo capacity of up to 20 tons, mainly for the transportation of garments, home appliances, furniture and mechanical parts from East and Central China, as well as for the import of Vietnamese products to China.

The air route takes advantage of the strategic location of Wuhu Xuanzhou Airport (IATA: WHA) in the Yangtze Delta, which quickly connects air, rail, road and water transportation, and covers key cities in China within 2-4 hours. The new service also strengthens JD Logistics’ position as part of its “11668” strategy to develop a global logistics network.

Today, JINGDONG Logistics operates more than 100 warehouses (including fulfillment, direct delivery and bonded warehouses) worldwide, with a total area of over 1 million m². In Southeast Asia alone, the company has 7 overseas logistics centers, serving local businesses, Chinese exporters and e-commerce sellers. In 2024, the volume of operations in this region will double, and there are plans to further develop directions to Vietnam, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Thailand and Malaysia.
