Tunis, December 20, 2023 – Maersk proudly unveils a novel transport initiative linking the burgeoning Tunisian market to its primary liner services connecting Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. The recently launched weekly service operates through a dedicated ro-ro vessel, shuttling between the Port of Rades and the pivotal hub port of Cagliari in Italy. Notably, this service provides an optimal connection between Morocco and Tunisia.
Departing from the Port of Tunis Rades (Tunisia) every Friday evening, the ro-ro vessel docks at Cagliari (Italy) on Saturday, establishing a crucial link with our hub port in Tangier (Morocco) on Thursday. In a commitment to ensuring seamless logistics in Tunisia, Maersk offers a comprehensive suite of value-added services, encompassing a bonded warehouse, airfreight, less than container load cargo (LCL), as well as supply chain and 4PL solutions. Additional integrated logistics services aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction include customs services, inland transportation, insurance, depot services, and cold chain logistics.
