At a government meeting, Nurlan Sauranbayev, Minister of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, stated that the transport sector is demonstrating steady growth and remains a key driver of the national economy. He noted that key industry indicators showed positive dynamics over the first 10 months of 2025.
For example, the volume of transport services provided increased by 20.7%, indicating a rise in business activity and demand for transportation. At the same time, fixed capital investment in the transport sector increased by 18.4%, reflecting active infrastructure development and industry renewal.
Furthermore, the Minister reported an increase in transit traffic. The volume of transit cargo through Kazakhstan reached 29.4 million tons, 5% higher than the same period last year.
