KTZ Express has launched a pilot shipment of automobiles in specialized containers along the China–Kazakhstan–Russia route.
KTZ Express, a subsidiary of JSC NC “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy,” has carried out a pilot project to transport passenger cars in specialized containers along the international rail route connecting Chongqing (China), Dostyk (Kazakhstan), and Vorsino (Russia). The project was implemented in partnership with the China Railway Container Transport Corporation (CRCT) and Yuxinou (Chongqing) Logistics Co., Ltd., the latter acting as the train’s consignor.

Jiangmen Hengtong Shipbuilding has delivered China’s largest fully revolving crane vessel for offshore construction.
The Chinese company Jiangmen Hengtong Shipbuilding has completed construction and delivered the new semi-submersible crane vessel Xihang Yunsheng to the client; it is the largest vessel of its type in the country in terms of lifting capacity. The project was executed by a subsidiary of Fourth Harbor Engineering. The vessel is designed for the construction of large-scale marine structures, including bridges, port infrastructure, offshore wind turbines, oil and gas platforms, and subsea tunnels.

Kazakhstan Temir Zholy and Лянюньган are strengthening the development of the Eurasian container route.
Talgat Aldybergenov, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “NC ‘Kazakhstan Temir Zholy’” (KTZ), held talks with Zhou Jin, Mayor of the Chinese port city of Lianyungang, to discuss the expansion of joint logistics projects and investment cooperation. A key outcome of the meeting was the confirmation of readiness to launch the “Aktau International Container Hub” LLP; preparatory work for the facility has been fully completed, and operations are scheduled to begin before the end of June of this year.

Rail freight transport between Kazakhstan and China has risen to 35.6 million tonnes.
The volume of rail freight transport between Kazakhstan and China reached 35.6 million tonnes in 2025, an increase of 3.5 million tonnes (or 11%) compared to 2024. This was announced following a meeting between Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov and Premier of the State Council of the PRC Li Qiang. During the talks, the parties also noted growth in key indicators of bilateral cooperation: trade turnover exceeded $48 billion, trade in agro-industrial products reached $1.9 billion, and the volume of direct investment totaled $2.8 billion.
