Gebrüder Weiss increased its revenue to 2.73 billion euros in 2025.

Gebrüder Weiss, the international transport and logistics company, closed the 2025 financial year with net revenue of €2.73 billion, slightly exceeding the 2024 figure of €2.71 billion. Despite the weak economic situation in Europe, the company managed to strengthen its market position and improve productivity. According to CEO Wolfram Senger-Weiss, Europe remains the key region for the company’s business, but the company is also actively expanding its network in fast-growing global markets. Gebrüder Weiss’s financial strength is demonstrated by its high equity ratio of over 60%, and its workforce remained at approximately 8,600.

Revenue in the European land transport division increased to €1.55 billion, up from €1.52 billion the previous year. Although revenue in Germany declined slightly, the company was able to increase its market share and strengthen its position in Eastern Europe. The home delivery segment also demonstrated growth, reaching 1.36 million shipments. The Air & Sea division saw increased shipment volumes, particularly on routes between Europe and Asia, as well as within Asia, driven by the growth of e-commerce between China and Europe. However, due to lower air and sea freight rates, revenue in this segment declined to €913 million (2024: €929 million). Revenue from contract logistics and supply chain management increased by 7% to €147 million. DPD Austria, a subsidiary of Gebrüder Weiss, also demonstrated positive growth: the volume of parcels processed increased by 3.6% to 64.6 million.

In 2025, the company invested €146 million, 16% more than the previous year. The funds are being used for network expansion, automation, and digitalization. New representative offices were opened in Thailand and the Philippines, and the acquisition of a majority stake in Turkey’s Sienzi Lojistik strengthened customs clearance and warehouse logistics operations in Istanbul. In North America, a new facility was opened in Phoenix, Arizona. In Europe, the company expanded its facilities in Zagreb, Aldingen, and Wels, and opened a new logistics and IT center in Wolfurt, Austria, featuring an automated high-bay warehouse. Gebrüder Weiss also continues to implement its climate strategy: its solar power capacity has reached 19.7 MW, covering approximately half of the company’s electricity needs, and its electric vehicle fleet has been expanded to include 14 electric trucks. According to Wolfram Senger-Weiss, amid ongoing geopolitical instability and risks to global supply chains, the company will continue to invest in infrastructure and technology to provide reliable logistics solutions to its customers.
