Aviator Airport Alliance has launched a partnership with China Southern Airlines at Helsinki Airport.

Aviator Airport Alliance signed a multi-year ground handling agreement with China Southern Airlines at Helsinki Airport, following the launch of the new Beijing Daxin – Helsinki route. The carrier operated the inaugural flight on this route on March 29, and since then, Aviator has provided a full range of ground services.

Under the agreement, the company is responsible for passenger and baggage handling, ramp operations, and aircraft de-icing. China Southern, founded in 1988, is one of the world’s largest airlines, with a fleet of approximately 900 aircraft and a route network to more than 200 destinations. The airline operates over 2,000 daily flights, actively developing both regional and long-haul services.

According to Minna Virmajoki, Acting Managing Director of Aviator Finland, the partnership with a major international carrier strengthens the company’s position in Helsinki and confirms its shared focus on safety, efficiency, and high service. Aviator operates at 15 airports in Northern Europe and is part of the Avia Solutions Group, the world’s largest ACMI services provider with over 14,000 employees worldwide.
