Rail Baltica has published its procurement plan for 2026.

The Rail Baltica project has unveiled a consolidated procurement plan for 2026, covering Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. For the first time, the document combines tenders from both the operating company RB Rail AS and the national implementing entities – Rail Baltic Estonia, Eiropas Dzelzceļa Līnijas, and LTG Infra – into a single overview. This should make it easier for the market to understand future projects and their implementation timelines.

The list of upcoming procurements includes construction work, design and design-build contracts, engineering supervision, environmental and laboratory services, and IT and operational support. Key areas include the construction of railway infrastructure, passenger terminals, cross-border sections, work on the superstructure and railway subsystems, as well as a wide range of consulting and expert services.

Rail Baltica emphasizes the importance of dialogue with the market before and after the launch of procurement procedures. The company notes that a preliminary understanding of the capabilities and experience of potential participants simplifies tender preparation and increases their effectiveness for all parties.
