Aircargonet has become AirBaltic’s exclusive cargo agent in Germany.

German company Aircargonet International has been appointed as the general sales and handling agent (GSSA) for airBaltic in Germany. This decision was made following a tender and opens up new opportunities for the Latvian airline in one of the key European markets.

Aircargonet will now be responsible for cargo sales, booking, capacity management and product marketing for AirBaltic, which services flights from its own cargo hub at Riga Airport. According to Aircargonet CEO Max Lederer, the cooperation strengthens the company’s position in Europe and expands AirBaltic’s reach.

AirBaltic operates 50 Airbus A220 aircraft and flies to nearly 130 destinations in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. Aircargonet, based near Frankfurt, has been operating on the market since 1999 and specializes in the transportation of dangerous, pharmaceutical and oversized cargo.
