CMA CGM is launching a new Cherry Express service for the export of Chilean cherries to China in the 2025 season. The new route will provide fast delivery from San Antonio to Shanghai in just 23 days and is specifically designed for cherries. To support the service, changes have been made to the existing ACSA 1 and M2X lines.
The ACSA 1 line will run Shanghai–Ningbo–Qingdao–Busan–Callao–Changkai–San Antonio–Shanghai, while the M2X will connect Shekou–Ningbo–Shanghai–Tianjin–Qingdao–Busan–Manzanillo–Lazaro–Cárdenas–Posorja–Buenaventura–Yokohama–Busan–Shekou.
Cherry Express will operate eight services from San Antonio, ensuring a regular supply of fresh Chilean cherries to the Chinese market and strengthening CMA CGM’s position in the specialized high-speed container shipping segment.
