From 1 September 2025, Crossrail Benelux will officially become BLS Cargo Nord NV and will operate under the single brand and logo BLS Cargo. This decision reflects the strategy to further consolidate all divisions of the BLS Cargo group under a single brand.
Crossrail Benelux, which has been owned by BLS Cargo since 2019, completed almost 10,000 journeys in 2024 across Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. This represents a 46% increase compared to the year of acquisition, demonstrating the significant growth in transport volumes and the importance of Crossrail in the overall structure of the group.
At the end of 2024, BLS Cargo launched a transformation program aimed at simplifying and standardizing processes across all countries of operation. The integration of Crossrail into BLS Cargo will enhance synergies, improve customer service and offer more comprehensive logistics solutions.
