Euroports strengthens its position in the Port of Seville with the integration of Estibadora Sevillana.

The Euroports Group has expanded its operational capabilities at the Port of Seville by integrating Estibadora Sevillana, a stevedoring specialist. This move strengthens Euroports Carbon Puerto’s position as one of the port’s leading terminal operators and paves the way for increased cargo throughput at one of the most strategically located ports in southern Europe. The integration encompasses the Carbon Puerto and Batán Norte terminals, where Euroports operates two berths measuring 145 meters and 660 meters, with a total storage area of approximately 113,000 square meters, including 19 storage modules and 30,000 square meters of covered warehouses.

Operational capacity has been further enhanced by the addition of specialized equipment from Estibadora Sevillana. The updated fleet includes four mobile cranes, including a 124-tonne capacity crane, as well as additional handling equipment for the safe and efficient handling of fertilizers, metal products, cement, biomass, grain, and project cargo. This has enabled Euroports to increase the versatility and productivity of its terminals when handling bulk and general cargo, serving the needs of the industrial and agricultural sectors in Europe.

The Port of Seville, a multimodal hub with access to sea, rail, and road routes, serves over 1.5 million residents in the metropolitan area and plays a key role in cargo distribution in southern Spain. The addition of Estibadora Sevillana allows Euroports to offer customers more flexible and comprehensive logistics solutions, combining the group’s international expertise with in-depth knowledge of the regional market. The integration confirms Euroports’ long-term commitment to the development of the Port of Seville and strengthens the company’s presence in key logistics corridors in Spain, complementing its core operations in the Port of Tarragona.
