Garbe Industrial sold a large logistics complex in Germany; the property went to Clarion Partners Europe.

Garbe Industrial, together with Bremer and Quakernack, has completed the sale of a large logistics centre in Bitterfeld, Germany, to an investment fund managed by Clarion Partners Europe. The complex is located in Technologiepark Mitteldeutschland and comprises 125,000 m² of leasable space on a 222,000 m² site. All premises are fully leased to companies from the automotive industry.

The facility was developed in three stages and is equipped with modern sustainable energy solutions: a heat pump system and a 4.5 MW solar power plant installed on the roof. This combination makes it an attractive asset for ESG-oriented investors.

The location next to the A9 motorway provides excellent transport accessibility to the region, connecting it with Leipzig, Berlin, Nuremberg and Munich. As Garbe Industrial’s Chief Investment Officer Dr. Peter Bartholomeus noted, the demand for environmentally efficient logistics properties in strategic locations continues to grow.
