On July 24, the official presentation of the MSC subsidiary registered in the domestic economic zone took place in Ningbo (China). The new structure will be engaged in technical management of the fleet and recruitment of crews for the vessels of the Swiss shipping giant.
At the presentation, MSC announced plans to hire about 2 thousand Chinese seafarers by 2026. This step is aimed at strengthening the company’s personnel presence in the Asia-Pacific region and expanding the global operational network.
The company in Ningbo became the third MSC center engaged in crew management, along with existing structures in Limassol (Cyprus) and Sorrento (Italy).
