PSA International, DNV Singapore and Pacific International Lines (PIL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together to measure, report and verify carbon emissions and develop sustainable solutions to reduce emissions in the maritime and logistics industries. The signing took place on 24 March at PSA’s headquarters in Singapore.
With growing demand for sustainability transparency, the companies intend to share reliable data across the supply chain to accurately track emissions reductions and improve visibility into the environmental impact of logistics.
Eddie Ng, PSA’s Head of Operations and Environment, highlighted PSA’s commitment to sustainable transformation with its global network of ports and energy hubs. The partnership with DNV and PIL underlines PSA’s commitment to innovation, co-development and the integration of environmental solutions into global trade.
