HWF Scandinavia and Finland, a subsidiary of ECS Group, has been appointed as the exclusive general sales agent (GSSA) for cargo for Thai Airways in Sweden and Denmark, effective 15 May 2025. The partnership covers daily wide-body flights from Stockholm and Copenhagen to Bangkok, providing cargo connections between the Nordic countries, Southeast Asia and Australia.
HWF will handle all sales and customer service, leveraging ECS Group’s deep local market knowledge and digital solutions, from real-time tracking to pricing tools and booking optimisation. Thai Airways cited ECS Group’s strategic insight and long-standing partnership as key factors in its choice.
ECS Group CEO Jean Secaldi stressed that the company offers more than just cargo space, but value through technology, local expertise and logistics engagement. The new appointment symbolises Thai Cargo’s commitment to strengthening its position in the Scandinavian market.
