The Eurasian Development Bank and Eurasian Logistics Park opened the largest Class A warehouse complex in Kazakhstan.

In Almaty, the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) and Eurasian Logistics Park (ELP) launched one of the country’s largest international Class A warehouse complexes, covering over 50,000 square meters. The facility is located at the strategic intersection of the Western China – Western Europe corridor and will become an important hub for e-commerce and international trade. The project was implemented with the support of the EDB, which invested 16.6 billion tenge as part of its strategy to build a modern Eurasian commodity distribution network.

The Eurasian Logistics Park utilizes advanced safety and engineering standards, and its convenient location – just 5 km from the BAKAD (Balkar Ring Road) and approximately 20 km from the airport – makes it a key element of Kazakhstan’s logistics infrastructure. The EDB emphasizes that such projects accelerate delivery, reduce costs, and increase the availability of goods for consumers throughout the region. The developer was Aurora Development, with co-investor Sudakov Group.

According to EDB analysis, demand for modern warehouse space in Eurasia is growing rapidly: the region’s total stock has reached 5.5 million square meters, while the vacancy rate in Kazakhstan has fallen to 3%. The growth of foreign trade and e-commerce is driving the need for new hubs, and facilities like the ELP are transforming the region’s transit potential into tangible economic benefits for Central Asian countries and their businesses.
