Turkish Cargo has resumed cargo flights to Maastricht-Aachen Airport (MST), opening two weekly flights on the Quito-Miami-Maastricht-Istanbul route. The main focus of the transportation is on flowers, perishable goods and general cargo.
According to MST’s Head of Commercial Development Dean Bolyuncic, the airport was chosen due to its efficiency and fast cargo handling – the AEO status and its own logistics hub allow the prompt delivery of flowers to the largest auction in Aalsmeer in less than two hours after landing.
After receiving the Turkish Airlines Quality Award in 2023, MST Airport expects to see steady growth in volumes in 2025, relying on service flexibility, no slot restrictions and a favorable location near key highways.
