По данным Главного управления морских дел Турции, с января по октябрь 2025 года через порты Турции было перевалено 456,44 млн тонн грузов, что на 3,31 ТТ3 больше, чем за аналогичный период 2024 года. Только в октябре через порты было перевалено 46,81 млн тонн грузов (+6,11 ТТ3), в том числе экспорт составил 11,5 млн тонн (-6,11 ТТ3), импорт – 23,24 млн тонн (+13,71 ТТ3), а транзит – 5,85 млн тонн (+21 ТТ3).
The ports with the largest transshipment volumes in October were Aliyaga (6.99 million tons), Kocaeli (6.71 million tons), İskenderun (6.24 million tons), Ceyhan (4.71 million tons), Tekirdağ (4.11 million tons), and Mersin (3.89 million tons). The ten largest ports handled 39.06 million tons, or 83.5% of total cargo turnover. The most popular export commodities were Portland cement, clinker, bauxite, polyspar, and diesel fuel, with the main shipping destinations being Italy, the United States, Egypt, China, and Spain.
Coal, oil, scrap metal, coke, and diesel fuel dominated imports. Container throughput also increased by 3.5% over the first ten months, reaching 11.68 million TEU. In October, the ports handled 1.19 million TEU, a 3.3% increase year-on-year.
