Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), a SATS Group company, has opened a new dedicated e-commerce and freight forwarding terminal (EFFH) at Copenhagen Airport. The new 4,800 sqm facility brings WFS’s total infrastructure at CPH to 21,500 sqm, including a pharmaceutical hub.
The EFFH centre offers a full range of value-added services: labelling, repacking, crating, screening, deconsolidation, sorting and preparation for customs clearance. It also provides logistics between terminals and agents. With optimized imports, the company reduces the delivery time of international e-commerce cargo to Scandinavia by one day.
The new centre supports the growth of cargo traffic at Copenhagen Airport and strengthens WFS’s position in the region. It complements the company’s existing EFFH operations in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain and Sweden.
