Turkish railway operator TCDD has received the first five E5000 electric locomotives, which were developed and manufactured entirely using local technologies. The handover ceremony took place in Eskisehir, where the locomotives are assembled by Türasaş with the participation of the TÜBİTAK RUTE Research and Development Institute.

The German company HHLA, together with the Ukrainian investment company Fortior Capital, is creating a new intermodal terminal HHLA Eurobridge Batiovo in the Zakarpattia region, near the border with the EU. COSCO Shipping Europe has announced the launch of the Black Sea Feeder Service (BFS), a regular sea route that will connect the Ukrainian port of Chornomorsk with the Turkish port of Kumport near Istanbul.
