Hitachi Rail, in consortium with Bulgarian partner CERB, has been selected by the National Railway Infrastructure Company (NRIC) to upgrade the 35-km Voluyak–Dragoman route with ETCS Level 1 and GSM-R signalling technology.
The Akmola Railway Division demonstrated strong production results for the first ten months of 2025. Against a planned target of 7.4 million tons, actual handling totaled 8.15 million tons, representing 110.1% of the planned volume. Under the planned structure, duisport and Captrain Deutschland would each hold a 45 % stake, with Dortmunder Hafen holding the remaining 10 %. The production of the new facility is subject to approval by the relevant corporate bodies and competition authorities.
