According to the results of January-May 2025, the volume of freight transportation on the Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (KTZ) network reached 107 million tons, which is 4.4% more than the same period last year. In January-May 2025, 22.2 million tons of cargo were transported by rail to Ukrainian seaports. This was reported by Valeriy Tkachev, Deputy Director of the Department of Transportation Technology and Commercial Work of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia, during the Ukrainian Transport Forum in Odessa.
