The Port of Tallinn has opened a new multifunctional berth in the Port of Paldiski.
The Port of Tallinn has received permission to operate a new multifunctional berth at Paldiski South Harbour. The facility is already ready to receive its first vessel: a large vessel carrying components for the construction of an onshore wind farm in Latvia is expected to call in the second half of February. The new 310-meter-long berth, with a 13.5-meter depth and a 10-hectare rear area, is considered unique in the Baltic region.
