КТЖ и CRCT укрепляют сотрудничество по развитию Транскаспийского маршрута.

В штаб-квартире АО «НК «Қазақстан темір жолы» состоялись переговоры между руководством КТЖ, KTZ Express и China Railway Container Transport (CRCT). Казахстанскую делегацию возглавил заместитель председателя правления по логистике Е. Койшибаев, а делегацию CRCT – председатель правления Ян Бин. В переговорах также приняли участие представители совместного предприятия Middle Corridor Multimodal Ltd.

The Port of Riga has implemented a digital system to regulate cargo flow during the grain export season.

During the peak grain handling season in Latvia, the Port of Riga implemented a digital solution to manage truck traffic. Since August, more than 597,000 tons of agricultural products, including wheat and rapeseed, have been shipped through the terminals, with Spain, Germany, and African countries the main export destinations. A total of 15 terminals on both banks of the Daugava River are operating during the season.

Вице-министр транспорта Казахстана Максат Калиакпаров встретился с первым заместителем министра инфраструктуры Грузии Вахушти Багратиони и послом Грузии в Казахстане Леваном Диасамидзе. В ходе переговоров обсуждались вопросы укрепления сотрудничества в транспортной сфере.

The port of Klaipeda will become the base for the construction of Lithuania’s offshore wind farms.

Large-scale infrastructure preparation for future offshore wind farms in the Baltic Sea has begun at the Port of Klaipėda. Tilsta is reconstructing the berths on the site of the former international ferry terminal, creating areas for the assembly, processing, and storage of wind turbine components. The project is being implemented under an agreement between the Port Authority and Klasco, signed in May 2022.

The KTZE Yuzhny branch strengthens its position in the multimodal transportation market.

KTZE Yuzhny, a branch of KTZ Express JSC, is strengthening its leadership in Kazakhstan’s transport and logistics industry by developing infrastructure, implementing modern technologies, and expanding its range of services. The company provides container and railcar freight forwarding, sea freight, warehouse logistics, customs clearance, and shuttle services. Key capacities are concentrated at the Altynkol, Dostyk, and Arys stations, as well as the Khorgos-Eastern Gateway SEZ and the Kazakhstan-China terminal in Lianyungang.

RCG strengthens Trieste’s position as a key port in Central Europe.

The Port of Trieste is strengthening its role as a key maritime hub in Central Europe thanks to direct services from Rail Cargo Group (RCG). As part of the international TransNET network, the port is connected to Villach, Salzburg, Linz, Vienna, Munich, Burghausen, and Wolfurt by regular direct services several times a week. Additionally, the combined TransFER Vienna–Trieste and TransFER Wels–Vienna–Budapest routes provide access to the BILK terminal, while a separate corporate train connects Budapest and Trieste directly.

Onur Marine will carry out dredging in the port of Izmail for 45.9 million UAH.

The Izmail branch of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA) has signed a contract with the Turkish company Onur Marine Gemi Işletmeciliği Tic. A.Ş. for dredging work worth UAH 45.90 million excluding VAT. The work will cover the waters near berths 12–14 and 19–22 of the port of Izmail, where 170,500 cubic meters of soil are to be removed and transported to an underwater dump in the Danube by the end of 2025. The company will use its own vessel, the Hegemann IV, for the project.

Kazakhstan Railways: On Course for Modernization and Growth.

The railway industry remains a key element of the global transportation system, and for Kazakhstan, this sector is of particular importance. Despite significant track deterioration in recent years, the government has adopted a large-scale program to modernize and build over 5,000 kilometers of tracks, repair another 11,000 kilometers, and expand the network by 2029. The country’s unique geographic location in the center of Eurasia offers significant prospects for transit and the transformation of railway infrastructure into a driver of economic growth.
